Casting Patterns
Wooden, aluminium and resin patterns, core boxes and match plates for sand, shell and investment casting — built with the right shrinkage, draft and machining allowance.
Draft content. Numbers below are typical industry capabilities pulled from reference sites — confirm against what our toolroom and partners can actually hold before launch.
What we build
- Wooden patterns — teak / seasoned hardwood. Best for jobbing and short runs, typically up to ~50 moulds.
- Resin / epoxy patterns — complex contours and medium runs, typically ~500–2,000 moulds.
- Aluminium patterns & match plates — CNC-machined for moulding machines and repeat production, 5,000+ moulds.
- 3D-printed patterns — printed straight from your model for prototypes, trial castings and one-offs, typically 1–20 moulds. Fastest route to a first casting.
- Core boxes — split, loose-piece and cold-box designs.
- Wax dies for investment casting.
How we work
Send the casting drawing or the finished-part drawing. We apply shrinkage for the alloy (CI, SG iron, aluminium, bronze, steel), draft, fillets, machining allowance and parting-line strategy, and share the pattern drawing for approval before making chips or sawdust.
Also available
Casting sourcing through partner foundries and machining of the finished castings — one order from pattern to finished component.
Ready when you are.
